Overview of Costs

Unless you qualify for a waiver, visa fees start at AUD 630. Each family member who applies for a visa will incur additional fees.

The Estimator excludes the second installment fee and additional expenses like medical exams, police clearances, and biometrics.

Confirmation of Enrollment

For each course, you must give the Department of Home Affairs Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE). The final course you complete as a part of the course package will be your major course, and this will assist specify what financial and English language proficiency documentation you need to submit.

Unless the first course ends at the end of the regular academic year, in November, and the next one begins at the beginning of the regular academic year, in February, the course gaps should be shorter than two calendar months if you are included a package of courses.

Packaged courses are subject to standard visa grant times.

You and your family must abide by all Australian laws.

You can include your partner and your or your partner’s dependent child who is unmarried and under 18 in your student visa application.

Visa will not be granted to your child if they have turned 18 at the time your visa is finalized.

Your family must meet the Department of Home Affairs’ health and character requirements.

This visa can be applied from in or outside Australia.

You can enter the country multiple times under this visa and the time spent outside Australia will not extend your visa.

Applications may take longer if:

  • your information is incorrect
  • your documents are incomplete or more information is needed
  • verification time takes longer

You need to pay the correct visa application charge for the application to be processed and will be notified if you fail to do so.
